About

I'm Adeel Imtiaz — an AWS Certified Solutions Architect and software developer. I help engineering teams cut their AWS bill without making their lives harder.

Background

Five and a half years of hands-on AWS, building and operating production workloads for a B2B SaaS company. AWS Certified Solutions Architect. Most of that time I owned real infrastructure — the kind that breaks when nobody's watching it, the kind where the AWS bill is high enough that a percentage point matters.

Most of what I do is unglamorous engineering: shutting off things that don't need to be on, moving workloads off services that are bleeding money, building small automations that pay for themselves in a month. I publish nothing on conference stages. I just lower bills.

How I work

  • Read-only first. I work from a read-only IAM role until trust is built. Your production stays untouched.
  • Engineer-first, not a marketing shop. No synergy decks — just specific findings, dollar figures, and the order to do them in.
  • Risk before reward. Every recommendation has a risk rating. I'll never push you into something that could break a customer experience.
  • Plain English. Reports are written for engineering managers and CTOs, not for consultants.

Where I'm based

Canada. I work remotely with clients across North America and Europe. Most calls happen in the prospect's morning, which is my evening — that overlap usually works out fine.
